Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating element detection system capable of reducing the number of sensors and capable of detecting a heating element from measuring objects by a simple construction without increasing device cost and complicating a mechanism.SOLUTION: A heating element detection system 1 for detecting a heating element out of a plurality of aligned measuring objects B1 to B7 includes: a plurality of infrared sensors S1, S2 respectively installed on positions where all of the plurality of measuring objects are included within a visual field range corresponding to a viewing angle and arranged mutually with an interval by the number of infrared sensors smaller than the installation number of the measuring objects; and a detection part C for specifying the heating element on the basis of respective output values of infrared energy received by the plurality of infrared sensors. The detection part collates a ratio of respective output values of the plurality of infrared sensors with a previously stored ratio of respective output values of the plurality of infrared sensors corresponding to a situation where the plurality of measuring objects respectively independently become heating elements to specify the heating element.
