Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling jacket for a hardening apparatus capable of nearly evenly jetting, based on a simple constitution, a liquid coolant from the respective jetting orifices thereof.SOLUTION: The distal end portion 21 of a fitting member 4 integrated with a liquid coolant supply tube 6 is positioned within the interior space 28 of a cooling jacket 1. Orifices 26 are configured on the side wall of the distal end portion 21. A liquid coolant supplied from the liquid coolant supply tube 6 streams into the space 28 exclusively through the orifices 26 of the distal end portion 21. The disposition of the orifices 26 does not match the disposition of jetting orifices 9 of a jacket body 2. For this reason, the liquid coolant 18 entering the space 28 through the orifices 26 of the distal end portion 21 is not jetted unabatedly from the jetting orifices 9. When the space 28 is filled with the liquid coolant, furthermore, a compressed liquid coolant 20 is nearly evenly jetted from the multiple jetting orifices 9. |
