Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot melt sealing composition which seals end parts of the solar battery module with the end parts of the front sheet composed of a surface-untreated PET film, while retaining sufficient adhesiveness, in a flexible solar battery module, shows appropriate flowing properties at the melting temperature of a sealing material and is excellent in insulation, waterproofness, water vapor barrier properties and durability.SOLUTION: A hot melt sealing composition comprises a polyisobutylene of a weight average molecular weight of 150,000-250,000, a polyisobutylene of a weight average molecular weight of 300,000-400,000, a polyisobutylene of a weight average molecular weight of 60,000-90,000, an adhesiveness imparting agent consisting of at least a terpene phenol resin or an alicyclic saturated hydrocarbon resin, a moisture absorbent consisting of at least calcium oxide or zeolite, a silane-modified amorphous polyolefin and a filler. The number average molecular weight determined from weight average molecular weights of individual polyisobutylenes is 120,000-300,000.
