PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woody board whose heat storage properties can be increased compared with the conventional ones without causing deterioration in its strength.SOLUTION: The method for producing a woody board comprises a process of impregnating a board-shaped woody molded body 1 obtained by accumulating woody fibers 3 and press-molding the same with a latent heat storage material 5, and, in a step of impregnating the latent heat storage material 5, as the woody molded body 1a, the one whose density lies in the range of 0.2 to 0.5 g/cmis used.
