Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna device mounted on an artificial satellite and an antenna control system mounted on an artificial satellite that control a beam orientation direction, beam shape, side lobe, and the like by detecting distortion of a reflector.SOLUTION: A beam antenna 2 of an artificial satellite 1 includes: a BFN 12 for generating a high-frequency signal depending on control by control means of a ground station 5; an array power supply unit 11 for generating a communication beam from the high-frequency signal generated by the BFN 12; and a reflector 10 for reflecting the communication beam from the array power supply unit 11 to a described direction. The BFN 12 generates, by controlling excitation amplitude and an excitation phase, a high-frequency signal that will become a communication beam including a desired beam orientation direction, beam shape, and side lobe pattern when it is transmitted from the reflector 10. The control means of the ground station 5 detects distortion of the reflector 10 from an image signal photographed by a measuring camera 3, obtains a control signal of the BFN 12 corresponding to the distortion, and controls the generation of a communication beam by transmitting the control signal to the artificial satellite 1.
