Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish both easiness of extracting a plug portion of a battery charger and space saving when the plug portion is held in a charger body.SOLUTION: The battery charger (100, 100a) has a plug portion (140) which can be fit into an object to be charged, and a holder portion (130) which can hold the plug portion and rotate around a shaft (131) parallel to the ground. The holder portion includes: a fitting portion (132) which can be fit into the plug portion; and retention means capable of retaining the holder portion so that an extension direction of the fitting portion is a first direction in which an angle formed by the extension direction and the ground approaches 0 degree when the plug portion is not fit into the fitting portion. If the plug portion is fit into the fitting portion when the holder portion is retained so that the extension direction of the fitting portion is the first direction, the holder portion rotates around the shaft so that the extension direction of the fitting portion is changed from the first direction to a second direction. |
