Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a 11% Cr based stainless steel for an exhaust system member of an automobile or a two-wheeled vehicle excellent in salt damage corrosion resistance and condensed water corrosion resistance in low cost.SOLUTION: There is provided a ferritic stainless steel for an exhaust system member excellent in corrosion resistance containing, by mass%, C:0.0150% or less, Si:0.2 to 0.7%, Mn:0.2 to 0.6%, P:0.050% or less, S:0.0100% or less, N:0.0150% or less, Al:0.010 to 0.20%, Cr:10.5 to 11.5%, Mo:0.02 to 0.20% and Sn:0.005 to 0.050% and one or two kinds of Ti:0.03 to 0.30% and Nb:0.03 to 0.50%, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities, and satisfying an A value defined in the formula (1) to be 0.00065%or more.
