Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording material having a high-gloss blank paper segment, above all an inkjet recording material capable of abating, without adversely affecting the blank paper segment glossiness when printed with an aqueous pigment ink, the glossiness disparity between the blank paper segment and printed segment and glariness and excellent in terms of printing qualities such as pigment ink absorbability, colorability, and scratch resistance, etc.SOLUTION: The provided inkjet recording material is an inkjet recording material possessing, atop a water-resistant support medium, at least one ink reception layer including mainly silica particulates and possessing, as the uppermost layer on the ink reception layer side, a layer including mainly colloidal silica in which the uppermost layer includes the colloidal silica and an aqueous dispersion including perfluoro alkyl groups, particle diameters of the colloidal silica are 35 nm or less, particle diameters of the aqueous dispersion including perfluoro alkyl groups are 150 nm or less, the mass ratio of the colloidal silica and the aqueous dispersion including perfluoro alkyl groups is 75 : 25-95 : 5, and the solid content coating rate of the colloidal silica within the uppermost layer is confined to a range of 75-150 mg/m.
