Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress damage due to erosion of a groove part communicated with an ejection port of a vane pump device.SOLUTION: A vane pump device includes: a rotating rotor 22; a plurality of vanes 24 held slidably on a plurality of vane grooves 23 disposed in radiation directions of the rotor 22; a cam ring 30 arranged so as to surround the rotor 22 and the plurality of vanes 24; an outer side plate 32 which has a supply port 44 which is arranged on a lateral part of the cam ring 30 and supplies actuation oil to a pump chamber 40 divided by an adjacent vane 24 and an ejection port 51 to which actuation oil is ejected; and groove parts (T1, T2) which are disposed to be extended in the rotation direction of the rotor 22 on the outer side plate 32 and form a communication path of actuation oil to the ejection port 51. The bottom part of a cross-section of the groove part has a curved shape and has a straight line shape parallel to the lateral surface formed of the groove part of the outer side plate 32.
