PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the yield by allowing a piezoelectric vibration piece to be attached more reliably to a package with higher accuracy.SOLUTION: In a piezoelectric vibrator 1 where a piezoelectric vibration piece 3, including a pair of vibration arms 30, 31 extending along each other, a base 32 to which each base end 30b, 31b of the pair of vibration arms 30, 31 is connected, and a support arm 33 connected with the base 32 between the pair of vibration arms 30, 31 and extending from the base 32 along the vibration arms 30, 31, is housed in a package 2, a recess 50 is formed in the inner surface of the sidewall of the package 2, and the tip 33a of the support arm 33 is inserted into the recess 50 and supported in place.
