Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection control system capable of preventing the malfunction of a single touch type touch interface.SOLUTION: The detection control system 10 of a touch panel controls the detection of the operation position of the touch panel 4 employing a single touch type. The detection control system 10 detects a series of operation positions from a first operation position at which a user initially starts an operation of the touch panel 4 to a second operation position at which the user finishes the operation, sets a predetermined operation valid region 121 with reference to the first operation position, discriminates whether the second operation position is detected in the operation valid region 121, and makes the detection of the second operation position invalid on the basis of the discrimination result.
