Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of a floating bearing and a vibration reducing method, capable of reducing vibration and noise without relying on component accuracy, and coping with a load in a radial direction.SOLUTION: In a supporting structure 1 of a floating bearing, an annular elastic member 30 is disposed between a mounting hole 21 of a bearing fitting portion 20 and an outer peripheral face 12 of a slide bearing 10, a plurality of projecting portions 33 projecting toward an outer peripheral face 12 of the slide bearing 10 are disposed on an inner peripheral face 31 of the elastic member 30, and groove portions 13 are formed in an outer peripheral face 12 of the slide bearing 10 to engage with the projecting portions 33 in a circumferential direction at positions corresponding to the projecting portions 33 in a state of assembling the elastic member 30 and the slide bearing 10. Further in a vibration reducing method of the floating bearing, a natural vibration frequency of the floating bearing is adjusted by changing one or both of shapes and numbers of the projecting portions 33 and the groove portions 13, or a diameter of a hole portion 35.
