Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sodium hydrogen carbonate particle having an excellent flowability and a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: In the sodium hydrogen carbonate particle, a contour of an image projected from any direction is comprised in the area between a circumscribed circle of the projected image and a concentric circle whose radius length is 90% of that of the circumscribed circle. The method comprises a gas-liquid contact step in which an alkali aqueous solution of sodium salt is brought into contact with carbon dioxide. The alkali aqueous solution contains 0.01-0.025 mass% of at least one polymer compound selected from the group consisting of polyacrylic acid and its salt, and a polymer of acrylic acid and dicarboxylic acid and its salt, wherein the polyacrylic acid has an average molecular weight of 10000-1000000, and the polymer has an average molecular weight of 10000-1000000. |
