Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side part vehicle body structure in which the vehicular width direction distance between the design surface of an arch molding and the outer side surface of a tire is restricted.SOLUTION: A side part vehicle body structure includes: a side body which comprises a wheel house 5 including a wheel arch part; a door panel 2 which is arranged at a vehicular width direction outside of the side body to cover the wheel arch part; an arch molding 6 which extends to an arch circumference direction and is fitted to the wheel arch peripheral edge part of the door panel; and an engagement member 8 which fits the arch molding to the wheel arch peripheral edge part of the door panel. The wheel arch peripheral edge part of the door panel comprises a fitting surface 18 which is formed as concaved to the vehicular width inside from a design surface 2a of the door outer panel corresponding to the position of the engagement member and a lower edge surface 20 of the wheel arch peripheral edge part of the door panel which projects to the vehicular width outside from the fitting surface along an arch molding width direction in the wheel arch peripheral edge part form the fitting surface and surface-contacts with the inner surface of the arch molding. The lower edge surface of the wheel arch peripheral edge part of the door panel extends along the arch circumference direction and surface-contacts with the inner surface of the arch molding.
