Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discomfort level estimation device which reduces the number of processing processes with higher estimation accuracy to allow the increase in speed and accuracy and the reduction in cost when estimating a discomfort level of video frequently varied in brightness.SOLUTION: A discomfort level estimation device 1 includes: a block brightness value calculation unit 10 which calculates block brightness values of an image included in video; a motion vector detection unit 20 which detects a motion vector in one frame of a subject in the video on the basis of the block brightness values; a per-block magnitude measurement unit 30 which measures per-block magnitudes which are magnitudes of brightness variation in respective blocks, on the basis of inter-frame brightness difference values being differences between the block brightness values and block brightness values in the blocks corrected by a motion vector detected in the image in the former frame; and a discomfort level calculation unit 50 which calculates a discomfort level by summing up the per-block magnitudes in all blocks for a prescribed measurement interval. |
