Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring method of a citrus imitation capable of adding a texture to a pericarp.SOLUTION: The coloring method of a citrus imitation 1 includes: a coloring process of applying a coloring material K to the whole of a body 10 of a pericarp having a recess 10A and protrusion 10B over the whole surface; and a wiping process of wiping, over the whole surface, the remaining coloring material K on the protrusion 10B over the whole surface, of the coloring material K applied in the coloring process. By the wiping process, the coloring material K is left on the recess 10A, of the recess 10A and protrusion 10B on the surface.
