Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grease composition having excellent hydrogen embrittlement resistance strippability.SOLUTION: There is provided a grease composition containing a base oil, a thickener and an alkyl phosphate metal salt represented by the formula (1), where R represents a straight or branched alkyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms and may be same or different if there are a plurality of alkyl groups, M represents an alkali metal, alkali earth metal, zinc, aluminum or magnesium, a represents 1 or 2, b represents 1 or 2, c represents 1 to 3, d represents 0 or 2 but 0 when a is 2, e represents 2 or 3 and n represents 0 to 60.
