Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a performance testing method and the like by which charge/discharge performance per unit time of a component composing a metal ion battery can accurately and easily be tested in a short time.SOLUTION: In the present invention, a positive electrode member, containing a metal component that forms the metal ions, is set in contact with a negative electrode active material, composing a negative electrode, in an area smaller than the surface area of the negative electrode active material. An electrolyte that conducts the metal ions is set in contact with both the positive electrode member and the negative electrode active material. A product resulting from the reaction between the metal ions diffused from the positive electrode member with a lapse of time and the negative electrode active material is specified by Raman spectroscopic and the like. By obtaining its diffusion speed, diffusion coefficient and the like, charge/discharge performance per unit time of a component composing a metal ion battery is tested. |
