Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk drive capable of suppressing vibration of an optical pickup against a guide shaft.SOLUTION: An optical disk drive includes: a lead screw 18 having a concave portion 20 spirally extending on an outer peripheral surface; a stepping motor 16 for rotating the lead screw 18; a first guide shaft 22 extending almost in parallel to the lead screw 18; an optical pickup 26 movable along the first guide shaft 22; a rack part 36 attached onto the optical pickup 26 and having projections 48 engaged with the concave portion 20; and a leaf spring 46 that is provided with a rack part 36 and pushed against the first guide shaft 22. The optical pickup 26 moves along the first guide shaft 22 by the movement of the projections 48 along the concave portion 20 when the lead screw 18 rotates. |
