Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sufficient attenuation force during the application of a high torque while having excellent operativeness in a weak damper region.SOLUTION: A drive shaft comprises an outer pipe (20) and an inner shaft (30) to be inserted into the outer pipe (20). The outer pipe (20) and the inner shaft (30) are configured to be relatively rotatable about an axis line. The outer pipe (20) includes a plurality of recesses (22) formed on an inner wall (21) thereof. The inner shaft (30) includes a plurality of salient parts (32) extending from an outer peripheral surface (31) thereof towards the inside of the recess (22). The recesses (22) of the outer pipe (20) and the salient parts (32) of the inner shaft (30) define damper chambers (D1) and (D2) to be filled with damper oil (O), the damper chambers (D1) and (D2) being formed on both sides of the salient parts (32) in a circumferential direction. The salient parts (32) of the inner shaft (30) are provided with buffer rubber (33) capable abutting on internal surfaces (22b) and (22c) of the damper chambers (D1) and (D2) in a circumferential direction.
