Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorometry device that is compact and also short in measuring time, and to provide others.SOLUTION: When light is emitted from a light source 25 to one well 7 and fluorescence is measured by a fluorometer 23, the fluorometer 23, the light source 25, and a filter 27 are then moved integrally under an adjacent waveguide 11. That is, DNA amplification in the wells 7 is carried out simultaneously but fluorometry is carried out for each well 7. The movement of the fluorometer 23 and so on may be stopped under each waveguide 11, or may be moved continuously. The moving speeds of the fluorometer 23 and so on are, for example, 30 to 80 mm/sec. Since fluorescence is measured by a set of fluorometer 23 and so on in such a manner, the need for the fluorometers 23 and so on for the number of wells 7 is obviated. Accordingly, a fluorometry device 1 is rendered compact.
