PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy of an accelerator opening amount which is set on the basis of a target vehicle speed.SOLUTION: A simulation device 2 for at least simulating a behavior of an automatic transmission which operates following a command from an ATCU 4 comprises: a driver model 21 which simulates the drive operation of a driver in a prescribed traveling pattern; an engine model 22 which simulates a behavior of an engine; an automatic transmission model 23 which simulates the behavior of the automatic transmission; and a vehicle model 24 which simulates a behavior of a vehicle. The driver model 21 comprises accelerator opening amount setting means 210 which sets an accelerator opening amount by referring to an accelerator opening amount map 211 on the basis of a target vehicle speed V decided from the prescribed traveling pattern and target vehicle acceleration a decided from a change of the target vehicle speed. In the accelerator opening amount map 211, a corresponding relationship of the vehicle speed V, the acceleration a and the accelerator opening amount APO is regulated with the vehicle speed V and the acceleration a as parameters.
