Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device having a filter which can be operated and adjusted according to regulation requirements in a plurality of ranges.SOLUTION: An adjustable filter 102, in response to a control signal 122, changes a frequency response 110 of the adjustable filter, on the basis of at least one of a geographical location, frequency spectrum information, and a status of a secondary internal radio. The control signal may shift the center of a path band 112 from a first center frequency to a second center frequency, and/or may change a bandwidth of the path band from a first bandwidth to a second bandwidth. A receiving device 100 has the adjustable filter which responds to the control signal, and a control device 130 constituted so as to select the frequency response of the adjustable filter by generating the control signal, on the basis of the geographical location. The geographical location indicates the operation range of the receiving device, and the frequency response is selected according to the range.
