Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair catcher for a washstand drain port which is easily installed to catch fallen hairs and the like in a vortical massive form even in a washstand drain port having a remarkably smaller diameter than that of a bathroom drain port, can surely catch small lumps, such as a contact lens and soap, and can remove caught materials with simple operation.SOLUTION: A flange part 4 is provided over the whole circumference of an upper edge of a cup-shaped water retention part 3 having water permeability. Straightening plates 8 having an arcuate shape in plan view are separately arranged on the top surface of the flange part 4 at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction.
