Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and reliably fix a stator to a housing.SOLUTION: The compressor has a housing 1 comprising an electric motor part 5 including a stator 10 and a rotor 11, and a compression mechanism part 6 driven by the electric motor part 5. A step part 15 is provided on an inner periphery of the housing 1 in an axial direction, and one axial end of the stator 10 is brought into contact with the step part 15. A stator notch part 16 is provided on a stator outer periphery, and a housing notch part 17 is provided on a housing inner periphery. A key member 18 made of a material having thermal expansion coefficient larger than that of aluminum is provided between the stator notch part 16 and the housing notch part 17.
