The positive electrode active material includes lithium metal oxide in which two domains are combined, and a part of lithium or transition metal contained in one domain of the two domains is doped with a heterogeneous element. Consequently, the service life property is improved by suppressing discharge voltage drop of a lithium battery including the positive electrode active material.
