Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical communication semiconductor substrate device that achieves higher speed and component generalization/longer service life of an electronic apparatus to thereby reduce costs.SOLUTION: A semiconductor device substrate has a circuit including an optical distribution control semiconductor device for collectively managing all light sources used in a substrate, and an optical conversion transmission/reception semiconductor device arranged paired with each mounting semiconductor device in the substrate via an optical waveguide communicating to the optical distribution control semiconductor device, on the same substrate. Reduction in development costs and in running costs of the optical semiconductor substrate device is achieved by: a function by which each mounting semiconductor device on the substrate device emulates with an optical signal a signal communication in multiple modes implemented in metal wiring structure; a light source refreshing function by a structure separating and detaching the optical distribution control semiconductor and a light source semiconductor; and a corresponding function for partial improvement/development by an interface structure standardized between each mounting semiconductor device and the optical conversion transmission/reception semiconductor device.
