Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage magnetic field generated from a heating coil of an induction heating cooker.SOLUTION: The induction heating cooker comprises: a heated cooking container 3 for loading a cooking object; a substantially planar-shaped base plate 2 for loading the heated cooking container 3; a heating coil 4 provided under the base plate 2; a shell 5 provided around the heating coil 4 for holding the base plate 2; an inverter circuit 9 which supplies a high-frequency output to the heating coil 4 for performing induction heating; and a first electromagnetic shield 6 which is formed above the heated cooking container 3 and integrated with the shell 5. The first electromagnetic shield 6 has at least two faces of shield plates opposite to each other. Since the electromagnetic shield is provided around the heated cooking container 3, the leakage magnetic fields not only on the lower side but also on the upper side, which are generated from the heating coil, can be magnetic shielded.
