Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fresh water production apparatus capable of efficiently and relatively inexpensively producing fresh water even in a desert area and the like, to which electric power can be hardly supplied.SOLUTION: Fresh water is obtained from air by the steps of: making a moisture aggregate 20 absorb a moisture content in the atmosphere by bringing the air into contact with the moisture aggregate 20 at night; and in a state in which the absorbed moisture aggregate 20 is arranged in a closed space, forcedly circulating the air in the space, between the inside of the space and the outside of the space, and obtaining dew condensation water by forcedly cooling the air outside the space.
