Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve drainage performance and anti-wear performance in a well-balanced manner.SOLUTION: There is provided a pneumatic tire in which center main grooves 3A, middle main grooves 3B, shoulder main grooves 3C, center lateral grooves 4A, middle lateral grooves 4B and shoulder lateral grooves 4C are provided in a tread portion 2. The middle lateral grooves 4B and the shoulder lateral grooves 4C extend in a nearly straight line and have lateral width of 4.0 to 16.0 mm. In the groove bottoms of the middle lateral grooves 4B and the shoulder lateral grooves 4C, there are never provided tie bars T whose protruding height from the deepest groove bottom is 50% or more of the deepest groove depth of the lateral grooves. Land ratios of a center region 5A passing through both ends of a center block 5 is 1.05-1.25 times the land ratios of a middle region 6A passing through both ends of a middle block 6. The angles of the center lateral grooves 4A relative to the tire axial direction are 15-45° and larger than the angles of the middle lateral grooves 4B relative to the tire axial direction.
