PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach an accessory for an LED lamp to an illumination source (for example, an LED lamp) at low costs.SOLUTION: An LED lamp has a lens and the lens is mechanically fixed to the LED lamp. The lens is designed so as to fit in a first fixture mechanically attached to the lens. An accessory is designed so as to have a second fixture. The second fixture engages with the first fixture thereby enabling the first fixture and the second fixture to generate a holding force between the first accessory and the lens. In several embodiments, the holding force is a mechanical force and is attained by mechanical engagement of mechanical fixtures. In another embodiment, the holding force is a magnetic force and is attained by a magnetic fixture which is formed so as to have a magnetic force.
