Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a retardation film that suppresses a variation of a retardation value with respect to a change in environment, in particular, a change in humidity, and has excellent stability of optical performance.SOLUTION: A retardation film contains a resin composition blended with cellulose acylate and a polymer having a polar group; and a retardation value Re(450) at a wavelength of 450 nm and a retardation value Re(550) at a wavelength of 550 nm satisfy the following formula (1): Re(450)/Re(550)=0.78 to 0.98.
