Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent increase in the number of business process components.SOLUTION: A business process design support system comprises: a business process component database which stores information on a business process component for designing a business process flow, including at least a component identification number, input information, output information, and content of processing of the business process component; means for reading a first component identification number and first input information of the first business process component and a second component identification number and second output information of the second business process component, from the business process component database; and means for recording the second component identification number, as a first prior component identification number, which indicates that the second business process component is to be implemented prior to the first business process component when the first input information coincides with the second output information, in association with information on the first business process component, on the business process component database.
