Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple system capable of accurately alerting a vehicle regardless of change in weather conditions.SOLUTION: An on-road alert system of the invention comprises: a speed measurement section 1 for measuring speed of the vehicle running on a road; an alert section 2 for alerting the vehicle running on the road; a weather information acquisition section 3 for acquiring weather information; and a control section 4 for causing the alert section to alert the vehicle on the basis of the speed measured by the speed measurement section and the weather information acquired by the weather information acquisition section. The control section 4 adjusts the speed of the vehicle measure by the speed measurement section on the basis of the weather information acquired by the weather information acquisition section, and causes the alert section to alert the vehicle on the basis of the adjusted speed.
