Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication medium with a plurality of application programs installed, the communication medium capable of executing a desired application program.SOLUTION: A communication medium includes: an IC chip storing a plurality of applications and having a control part, a storage part and two or more interfaces; a communication antenna element coupled to an interface of the IC chip and configured to send or receive data with an external device; a control element coupled to another interface of the IC chip; and a power supply antenna element coupled to the control element. The communication medium includes application designation means at least coupled to the control element. When the external device and the communication medium are approximated, the control element is preferentially activated, and executes processing of an application designated by the application designation means.
