Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which can respond to a smaller diameter of a photoreceptor and a process with a fast peripheral speed in a trend of reducing a size and increasing a process speed of a copying machine or a printer, which has high sensitivity and high responsiveness in a long wavelength range, which shows little degradation in electric characteristics even after repeatedly used, and which has high cleaning property.SOLUTION: The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a support body and a photosensitive layer composed of a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer on the support body. The charge transporting layer comprises at least a charge transporting substance, a binder resin and inorganic filler particles. An ionization potential [Ip(CTM)] of the charge transporting substance and an ionization potential [Ip(Filler)] of the inorganic filler satisfy an expression (A):|[Ip(CTM)-Ip(Filler)|≤0.4 (eV).
