Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell which can be operated with high efficiency by adjusting a temperature in a power generation chamber which is less involved in parameter deviation related to operation control at a side of the fuel cell.SOLUTION: A fuel cell of a composite power generation system formed of a plurality of fuel cell units SU including a plurality of cartridges 11 for generating power by introducing at least a part of gas exhausted from the fuel cell units SU to a MGT comprises: a plurality of temperature sensors 30 provided in gaps 31 between the cartridges 11; and a control section 40 to which detection values from the temperature sensors 30 are inputted and which operates at least one parameter of a flow rate of fuel to be supplied to the fuel cell units SU, oxidizable gas flow rate and inverter output. The control section 40 includes a temperature control operation mode in which the temperature in the power generation chamber of the fuel cell units SU in which the temperature equal to or higher than a threshold is detected by the temperature sensor 30, is decreased in unit of a fuel cell unit SU by operating the parameter.
