Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas detection device capable of more accurately detecting a concentration of hazardous gas and to provide a combustion device mounted with the gas detection device.SOLUTION: An exhaust gas rectification section 16 which forms an inner exhaust gas passage 87 extending close to an exhaust stack and an exhaust gas collection section 17 which collects a portion of exhaust gas and supplies the same to gas detection means 83 are installed in an exhaust gas collection chamber 7. An exhaust gas collection tube 41 to take in the exhaust gas is installed in the exhaust gas collection section 17 with an exhaust gas intake port thereof arranged at a downstream side of the inner exhaust gas passage 87. An agitating and mixing section to agitate and mix the exhaust gas is installed at the downstream side of the exhaust gas collection tube 41.
