Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow fiber membrane module in which both bundle end parts of hollow fiber membranes are inserted each into a bundle binding tube and fixed to each bundle binding tube through a potting part so that only the hollow inside of the hollow fiber membrane is opened to the outside and which enables not only hollow fiber membranes positioned in the peripheral surface on the side of the bundle of hollow fiber membranes or in the vicinity of the peripheral surface but hollow fiber membranes positioned inside the bundle of hollow fiber membranes to function effectively.SOLUTION: In a hollow fiber membrane module in which both bundle end parts of hollow fiber membranes are inserted each into a bundle binding tube and fixed to each bundle binding tube through a potting part so that only the hollow inside of the hollow fiber membrane is opened to the outside, hollow opening parts of the hollow fiber membranes in one end part of a hollow fiber membrane bundle are sealed with a sealing material, and, in the central part of the potting part in the module end part on the side where the hollow inside of hollow fiber membranes are sealed, there is provided a through hole penetrating the inside of the module and serving as an outlet for a fluid supplied externally to the module.
