PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming system capable of avoiding unnecessary correction processing on an input image, while preventing overlapping of a post-processing position at which a plurality of sheets are processed and images formed on the sheets.SOLUTION: An image forming system determines whether or not at least a part of an input image is in a binding area on a page on the basis of the input image, and determines, when at least a part of the input image is in the binding area on the page, whether or not the at least a part of the input image coincides with an image of a tooth mark pattern of needle-less binding. When the at least a part of the input image in the binding area on the page coincides with an image of a teeth mark pattern, the image forming system forms the input image on a sheet P without modification; and when the at least a part of the input image in the binding area on the page does not coincide with the image of the teeth mark pattern, performs at least one of movement and reduction of the input image to modify the input image so that the at least a part of the input image in the binding area is retreated from the binding area, and forms the modified input image on the sheet P.
