Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emit ultrashort pulse laser beams high in an average energy of pulses and high in a repetition frequency.SOLUTION: Light is confined in an optical path (optical path length L) between a laser beam drawing mirror 13 and a laser beam taking out mirror 14, and amplification is performed between the mirrors by a thin-disk laser medium 11. Repeating laser beams 20 are used as incident light. In the case, the optical length L is set to a specific value, so that the average intensity of the laser beams is enhanced by the influence of electric field interference while a repetition frequency in the repeated laser beams 20 is maintained, and the laser beams are output as output laser beams 100. The optical path length L in the case has an integer-multiple arbitrariness, so that a large value can be set appropriately.
