Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric actuator with a piezoelectric element sealed with a cover member which has such a configuration as to allow an easy and reliable electrical connection between the piezoelectric element and a drive unit.SOLUTION: A cover member 47 includes a cover body part 50 covering a piezoelectric element 41 and a wiring connection part 51 which extends from the cover body part 50 along one surface of the channel unit 20 while opposing to a first discrete wiring part 48 drawn out from the piezoelectric element. In the cover member 47, there is formed a second discrete wiring part 55 connected to a driver IC46 and extending from the cover body part 50 to the wiring connection part 51. The wiring connection part 51 is joined with the channel unit 20 in such a state that the second discrete wiring part 55 and the first discrete wiring part 48 have a continuity. The thickness of the wiring connection part 51 is thinner than that of the cover body part 50.
