Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat lock device which can release a striker by a light operating force and can prevent a situation where a striker is not restrained in spite of a hook being located at a restraining position.SOLUTION: In a seat lock device 1, when a hook 4 reaches a standby position closer to the striker releasing direction side than a release position capable of releasing a striker S, a guide engaging part 404 and a standby engaging part 501 of a guide lever 5 are engaged with each other to hold the hook 4 at the standby position, and when a striker abutting part 503 of the guide lever 5 is pressed by the striker S, the engagement between the guide engaging part 404 of the hook 4 and the standby engaging part 501 of the guide lever 5 is released and the hook 4 restrains the striker S. The guide lever 5 has a half engaging part 502 which is engaged with the guide engaging part 404 of the hook 4 to hold the hook 4 at a half position between the release position and a restraining position when the hook 4 is located at the half position and the striker S is not located at a position capable of being restrained by the hook 4.
