Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and method for performing static analysis associated with a run time execution fault of a computer program.SOLUTION: A system includes a discrimination module 212, an analysis module 214, a correction module 216, and a static analysis module 218. The discrimination module 212 discriminates a point of interest in a computer program. The analysis module 214 executes static analysis according to a value related to a variable so as to specify assignment to before a variable or expression. The correction module 216 permits the value of the variable to be changed to a new value or the expression to be changed to a new expression. The static analysis module 218 executes static increment analysis by the corrected computer program so as to confirm the change by the computer program.
