PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection member for an attention arousing tool from which a locking member is hardly fallen even when the connection member repeatedly receives load from vehicles travelling on the attention arousing tool.SOLUTION: An attention arousing tool 60 is comprised of a plurality of annular members 61 connected to each other in such a manner that the outer peripheral ends thereof are adjacent to each other, and is laid on a road and calls attention of the drivers of vehicles passing through the road by vibration. A connection member is used for the attention arousing tool 60, and includes: an insertion member 90 inserted from one side to the other side of outer peripheral edge parts of the adjacent annular members; and a locking member 95 for locking the insertion member 90. A direction in which the locking member 95 is locked to the insertion member 90 is made different from a loading direction in which vehicles travelling on the annular members 61 apply load to the insertion member.
