Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active energy ray-curable undercoat composition which exhibits excellent coating suitability to a plastic base material and whose cured film obtained exhibits excellent adhesiveness, become easily wetted by various coating liquids, has excellent adhesiveness with an organic or inorganic layer to be formed thereon, and does not deteriorate hardness or scratch resistance of the organic or inorganic layer to be formed thereon.SOLUTION: The active energy ray-curable undercoat composition contains a reaction product (A) obtained by reacting an alkoxysilane compound (a1) represented by the general formula (1) with fine particles of an inorganic oxide (A2) in the presence of water and an organic solvent: (P-SiO)(P-Si(R)O)(OR)(1); in the general formula (1), P is a maleimide group represented by a specific general formula; Ris a hydrogen atom or a monovalent organic group; Ris a monovalent organic group; a is 0 or a positive number (0≤a<1); and z is a positive number (0.1≤z≤2). |
