PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball screw which has high production efficiency and high capability of meeting market needs, and enables movable amounts of two nuts to be set independently from each other.SOLUTION: The ball screw includes an inner ball screw mechanism which has: a screw shaft 1a having a spiral thread groove 1a on its outer peripheral face; an inner nut 2 having on its inner peripheral face, a thread groove 2a opposed to the thread groove 1a of the screw shaft 1; and a plurality of inner balls 3 rollably disposed on a spiral inner ball rolling path formed by the thread groove 1a of the screw shaft 1 and the thread groove 2a of the inner nut 2. The ball screw also includes an outer ball screw mechanism which has: a cylindrical member 4 having a spiral thread groove 4a on its outer peripheral face and coaxially fixed to the inner nut 2; an outer nut 5 having on its inner peripheral face, a thread groove 5a opposed to the thread groove 4a of the cylindrical member 4; and a plurality of outer balls 6 rollably disposed on a spiral outer ball rolling path formed by the thread groove 4a of the cylindrical member 4 and the thread groove 5a of the outer nut 5.
