Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-efficiency vane-type compressor in which while a vane passes through a suction bypass port, there is no coolant leakage generated due to crossing over of a vane tip by coolant when the coolant flows from a high-pressure side compression chamber to a low-pressure side one; during capacity control operation, a pressure loss is small when the coolant passes through the suction bypass port.SOLUTION: A vane-type compressor 200 comprises a cylinder 1 and a suction bypass port 1e provided on the cylinder 1 for bypassing part of fluid sucked into a compression chamber 11 to the suction side of the vane-type compressor 200. A width in a circumferential direction of an opening, facing the compression chamber 11, of the suction bypass port 1e is identical to or smaller than that of a vane part 5a and that of a vane part 6a.
