Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, and a program for performing settings such that data prepared by an application is properly printed in accordance with the size of a printing area.SOLUTION: It is determined whether a page of an aspect ratio of a printing area in which data prepared by an application is printed is settable by the application on the basis of the size of the printing area. In the case that determination means does not determine that the page of the aspect ratio of the printing area is not settable, a data arrangement area is set in the page such that an aspect ratio of the data arrangement area in which data of a printing object is arranged in a page of the application becomes the aspect ratio of the printing area.
