Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a vehicle speed to be recognized in a surrounding area, while suppressing a fluctuation in acoustic pressure of a notification sound and suppressing a deterioration in balance of respective frequency components configuring the notification sound.SOLUTION: A vehicle speed of a vehicle is identified (S100), and a composite sound signal is generated to shift a frequency component belonging to a second frequency band in which a fluctuation in output acoustic pressure of a speaker is small, without shifting a frequency component belonging to a first frequency band in which the fluctuation in the output acoustic pressure of the speaker is great, in association with a change in the vehicle speed of the vehicle (S102).
